Shatta Wale applauds Samini

Multiple award winning dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has applauded his top rival Samini for his staying power in the industry.

Shatta Wale expressed his desire of working on collaboration with the artiste whom Shatta has disparaged in the past.

Speaking with Ekow Larsen aka Ekow Puncho on Breeze 90.9 FM’s Showbiz Today programme Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr aka Shatta Wale attracted the admiration of the panelists on the show who applauded his maturity in responding to the questions.

The panel which comprised of editor of P&P newspaper Isaac Yeboah, editor of the Clock newspaper Augustine Mark, reporter for Flexx newspaper Eben Affum and veteran entertainment critic and sound engineer Fred Kyei Mensah aka Fredima unanimously applauded his responses to Puncho’s questions adding that if Shatta continues like this, he would continue to win over critics.

Shatta was responding to questions regarding his high nomination (7) in the Bass Awards list. The second edition of the Bass Awards is slated for November 29 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The awards night will be preceded by a Nominees Jam on Thursday, November 27 at the Avocado Lounge in Asylum Down.

The dancehall king acknowledged the efforts of the organizers and called for support for the awards.

The Bass Awards is organized by Raukus Productions in collaboration with Bullhaus Entertainment and Solid Multimedia.
