Kwabena Kwabena out with ‘Dabi’

Preaching something that tends to have positive influence on people is all he thinks of. It’s Kwabena Kwabena once again. He has presently created and stepped out to showcase another range of his skills as a singer and a songwriter.


Today , Kwabena is taking his writing and singing abilities to a new level as he releases his second album dubbed ‘Dabi” meaning one day. This consists of nine tracks, with other compliments.


It also features artists like Kofi B, Okyeame Quame and Brothers who he thought to be best talented rap artist and the finest who give meaning to rap music. The album is expected to be out soon.


In an interview with the Saturday Statesman, the music star revealed that ‘Dabi’ was put together for people to understand his real life, where he is coming from and where he is going. There is no track that talks about Dabi, but when u listen to all the tracks u will then understand why it’s called ‘Dabi’, (literary meaning ,one day).


Though he loves all the songs on the album, his favourite is ‘Menewaa’, because of its numerous dimensions. “It starts with the high-life, then changes to adowa, reggae and to root rockers’, “I really love the art work” he added.


Kwabena Kwabena who is seriously attached had a first taste in the music industry with his album ‘Penpe wasi-ni pen’ which boomed all corners of the music scene this year. He also believes ‘Dabi’ will pursue the same trend for fame.


He started developing his own skill as a draftsman and a writer combined it with music regarding his view about music as a burning desire and the food for the soul.


The former student of St Peter’s Secondary School and Accra Polytechnic, he has caused a stir among his competitors. His present album is under the management of the all new X-kwisit Vibe, a three man management organisation.


His aim has always been to create and promote music with the potential to make a difference in human life. Today, the greatest joy of the music legend has been the need to put smiles on the faces of the down hearted, in all spheres of life, with his lyrics.
