Asaase Aban To Launch ?Sokode? Album

You may have heard of talented musicians popping up every now and then in the hiplife industry. Wait till you hear from another group with great talents, nice lyrics and all you can think of. They go by the name Asaase Aban. They are popularly known by their Sokode song. The new hiplife trio is made up of Samuel Akman a.k.a Yooba B, Richard Danso a.k.a Drasty and Felix Walker a.k.a Walker.

Come this Saturday hell would definitely break lose at the Abetifi Community Centre at Abetifi. A tall list of hiplife artistes from JQ?s camp would be helping in the launching of this platinum album. Some artistes lined up to shake the show are Castro, Ebusuafour, Batman, Tinny, Mzbel, Margashoto, Taliban and many. The veteran host of Music for your Dancing Feet, Ekow Poncho and Bola Ray of Music Music fame would be the MCs as said by their Manager Dan Shankson Blankson and Yooba B on a telephone conversation with Ghana Music.Com.

The group was formed when they were all at Apam Secondary School and has since been performing at school shows and other memorable occasions. Talking about them individually, Samuel Akman was born in Accra on 3rd May 1984 to Mr. Andrews Akman and Mrs. Esther Agyekum. Samuel likes listening to music and rapping. Before he came into the group, he was performing at functions like Fun World. Richard Danso was also born in Accra on 5th April 1984 but hails from Nkwatia ?Kwahu in the Eastern Region. He was born to Mr. Stephen Danso and Mrs. Beatrice Sasu Danso

Sokode, title of the album talks about how love is ruling the world. Sokode, the first track on the album features Castro. It talks about how they saw a lady and decided to go out with her. Secondly is Setey. It?s about the same lady talked about in Sokode but this time has broken their heart.

Ojulo, next on the album talks about friends who are hypocrites, backbiters and opportunist. Abaaye talks about the work of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) and the advice they have for them. Since we now have a new AMA boss we hope there will be new developments in Accra.

Now we flip to side B. Logoligi opens side B and it talks about personal hygiene. It has got some funny lyrics which will make you like this album. The fast paceness of the beat makes the lyrics and chorus flow very well.

Kane No, Obaa Yaa and Sofose close the album. All songs were recorded at Hush Hush Studios.

Asaase Aban has many wonderful things and advice to give to the general public and the youth especially in this album.
