There is no doubt Africa is home to some of the most diverse music events on the planet. The great thing about these events is that it features performers across a variety of genres.

A typical example is 'African Legends Night', an annual event held in Ghana, a country praised for its stable democracy and rich culture.

For the past five years, African Legends Night has played host to celebrated music icons from the continent and carved an event niche catered to people who have soft spot for local African music.

Past editions have included headliners; South Africa's legend Hugh Masekela, Nigeria's Femi Kuti, Ghanaian ace Saxophonist Steve Bedi, Ben Brako, George Darko, Amakye Dede and a blend of artistes across Africa.

There is never a dull moment at this event; some performances have been known to thrill music fans beyond measure. It has been also hailed by industry players as "simply the finest" music event. Every year, African Legends Night entertains over 1,000s of fans with soothing, exciting, danceable African tunes.

"Celebrating the originality of Africa with music from our roots is our passion. We are proud to say that the African Legends Night is now a brand that lives in the hearts and on the minds of many who believe in the rich culture and heritage of African music," said Edwin Amankwah, Director at Global Media Alliance, organisers of the event.

The event has set out on a journey to share the beauty and tell a different story about Africa through the exploration of arts, culture and music.

The organizers believe the event has been successful, thanks to the sponsorship by Ghanaian owned beverage firm, Kasapreko Company Limited. "We are thankful to our partners over the years for their support in making this event a success."

The Marketing Manager of Kasapreko, Gerald Bonsu stated, "We are a company which has great admiration for the rich culture of Africa, celebrating our heritage through great music by our legends is something we cherish. We are pleased to partner with GMA to organise this mega concert in the country."

There is lot optimism by organisers, but will the 2015 edition be like previous years? And which African music legend will headline the show?
