If ghana can't send reps from gh athletics to learn what is being done over there and replicate that. Then I guess there is no hope left

It takes a national commitment in the form of financial investment to even come anywhere near Jamaica's prowess in track and field. So for long, the country has paid only lip services to its track and field program. If it spends on the track just a fraction of the amount it spends on football, it will be able to produce close to world class track and field athletes.

Jamains are blessed with the same fast twitch muscle that west Africans have that facilitate explosive sprinting. The difference between them and us is that they have capitalized on it while we have spent all our resources on soccer, a sport wI'll never win anything on the world stage. Africans especially west Africans are naturally not built for footbal. We do not do well in endurance sports. Jamaicans know this that is why they make use of their physical gift that is fast twice muscles that enable sprinting. Sprinting is like a religion in jamaica just like we live football here in ghana. But the fact is that there is too much stiffer competition in football. We have to face the europeans and south americans who are much more suited for them than we are. Even Asia has overtaken us in football. The earlier we realize this and I vest in track and field especially sprinting the better.
