Olympian Martha Bissah to display at El Wak Stadium

Junior Olympic Champion, Martha Bissah will be the star to watch at the upcoming Ghana Athletics Open Championship schedule to take place at the EL Wak sports Stadium on Saturday April 11, 2015.
Bissah will for the first time make it on the track amidst difficulties and difference with the Ghana Athletics Association and her Coach Nii Odartey Lamptey.
No Ghanaian foreign based athlete will be available for the open championship and it affords the exciting Ghanaian local athletes to compete and sharpen up for international challenge.
Mark Dzradosi, a member of the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) said the Open Championship will equip the athletes for the upcoming All African Games and other international competitions.
“This is open to athletes in Ghana from the age of 7 to 99, this is part of our preparations towards international championships and talent development.
“Local athletes are gearing up to reply their foreign athletes who have put out amazing performances; we hope to continue the trend from last year”. He added.
