Kitcher heads Ghana Past Athletes Association

The Ghana Past Athletes Association (GPAA) had been inaugurated in Accra with the sole aim of promoting the welfare of retired athletes in the country.

The Association is also aimed at helping with the needed knowledge to raise standards of athletics in the country and foster unity among past athletes.

GPAA, has Andrew Agbo Kitcher as President with Henry Akushey Quaye as the Secretary and Emmanuel Laryea as the Treasurer.

Mikey Ahey, Adjin Tettey, Sandy Osei Agyemang, Rex Brobbey, Professor Francis Dodoo, Mercy Tagoe and Mary Mensah were some of the guests resent at the inauguration ceremony.

The formation comes as a great relief for past athletes as cases of dejected athletes remains common just like that of footballers.
