Milo Marathon champion targets Olympic gold medal

2015 Milo Marathon champion Alhaji Kassim Mohammed has now set his sights on winning gold at the Olympic Games for Ghana.

The officer of the Ghana Armed Forces emerged champions of the mass category of the Milo Marathon held last month.

Mohammed beat over 400 contestants in the 42.2km race to pick up the Gh¢15,000 cash prize.

This is the second time Kassim Mohammed is winning the ultimate prize at the Milo Marathon.

The energetic personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces has revealed plans to train outside the country to realize his grand ambition of winning an Olympic gold medal.

“My target is to win gold at the Olympic Games,” he said.

“As I speak now, I am working on leaving the country.

“I might go to the USA or Tanzania.”
