Wa All Stars regroup for FA cup clash

Wa All Stars returned to camp after a brief break for the MTN FA clash. The Northern Blues broke camp after the Ashgold game in Obuasi but have since returned for the northern derby in the FA tie.

The Wa based side returned to full scale training on Friday at their favourite Wa Malik Jabir park ahead of Sunday’s cup tie at home to Bolga All Stars. The reigning GHPL title holders host northern rivals Bolga All Stars for a place in the last 16 of the coveted domestic cup trophy.


Goal keeping pair of Baba Musah and Rashid Seidu were spotted happily participating in their training program with a host of first team players around as well.

Wa All Stars spanked Bolga All Stars 1-3 in the premier league northern derby at Kasalgu thanks to a brace from David Sandan Abagna. The Wa based side are however enduring an inconsistent home form this campaign that includes two home defeats at the hands of WAFA and Bechem United .

The mouth watering FA clash between the northern rivals takes place at the Wa park on Sunday.
