I’m not planning to retire soon, says Dan Quaye

Ghana’s Taekwondo Champion, David Koney Adjetey has turned to social networking site Facebook to beg for funds to enable him compete in the 2015 World Taekwando Championship in Russia.

According to David Adjetey he has been qualifying for a lot of championships but has not been receiving financial support from the state to enable him to compete but cannot afford to miss out this time around, hence the his action.

According to the 2014 Africa Taekwondo bronze medalist, who is currently ranked No. 23 by the World Taekwondo Federation and 3rd in Africa, he will beg to compete rather than stay in the house.

“Because of lack of funding, my country is not able to send me to competitions. I am currently looking to raise money to be able to participate in the 2015 World Taekwondo Championship (the highest ranking Taekwondo competition in the world) on May 12 in Chelyabinsk, Russia”, David wrote on his facebook page.
