Ahmed Toure: “I will one day play for Hearts Of Oak”

Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure may have swerved Accra Hearts of Oak to sign for his former club, Asante Kotoko, but according to him, he still has intentions of playing for the Phobians in the future.

The player who almost signed for the Accra-based club, rejoined his former employers in a dramatic fashion an action that angered many Hearts of Oak fans.

But the player in a chat with sportscrusader.com has mentioned that contrary to reports that he deliberately used Hearts of Oak as bait to get back to Kotoko, he really wanted to play for the Phobians, but negotiations broke down, an action that made him join the ‘porcupine warriors’ eventually.

“I went to Hearts of Oak because I wanted to play for them, and I showed it in the matches I played as I played my hearts out. But along the line negotiations broke down and I found myself in Kotoko”, the player mentioned in a chat with sportscrusader.com.

“It wasn’t a deliberate action, but like I said earlier, I am a businessman and will go along with any Club that will satisfy my terms.”

“But I still have ambition for playing for Hearts of Oak and I believe that I will officially sign for them one day. But for now, i am going to give my all to Asante Kotoko”, added.
