Boye to return for Ghana; Kwarasey could replace Dauda

Footy-ghana.com has gathered that Kayseri Erciyesspor defender John Boye will make a return to the Black Stars squad ahead of the 2015 African Nations Cup qualifying double header against Uganda and Togo.

Boye, who was on target for his club on Monday, was left out of the double header against Guinea because he had just recovered from injury, but footy-ghana.com understands that his return could mean that Mpumalanga Aces defender Kwabena Adusei could miss out.

Footy-ghana.com sources further reveal that should Stromsgodset captain Adam Kwarasey be selected for the qualifying double header, that would mean that Ashanti Gold returnee Fatau Dauda would miss out, as stand-in coach Maxwell Konadu favours Aduana Stars goalie Stephen Adams and Mirandes goal tender Razak Braimah.

Jordan Ayew, who is suspended for Ghana’s trip to Kampala, will be part of the squad, as he would be eligible to face Togo in Tamale next month.
