Inkoom says DC United can count on his versatility

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom says his versatility will be crucial for his new club DC United in them winning titles.

The right back who also operates effectively on the wing has signed with the Major League Soccer outfit.

Inkoom is expected to make his debut against Jamaican side Waterhouse in the CONCACAF Champions League.

He told the club’s website that him being an all-rounder player gives coach more options.

“I play right back, right midfield. I’m used to attacking a lot. The most important thing is we need to achieve something for D.C. United, get the trophy in MLS and go further in the Champions League as well,” the former FC Dnipro player said.

“With my teammates, I think we are going to achieve what we are here to achieve.”
