Mubarak Wakaso's Celtic debut delays

Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso’s debut for Celtic has delayed after warming the bench in their Scottish Premier League 1-1 draw at Dundee United on Sunday afternoon.

The 24-year-old completed his loan move from Russian side Rubin Kazan in midweek but Ronny Deila named him in his squad.

Wakaso will have to wait until after the international break to see if he can play his first match for the Bhoys.

Celtic face Aberdeen at home on 13 September and that could be his breakthrough.

He is expected in Ghana early this week to join his Black Stars team mates prepare for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday.
