  These supporters union can only go give their support in countries where visas are not required but to think they will be granted visas to enter any of these developed countries is living in a fools paradise after what happened with the supporters in Brazil.If you the people at these embassies are bunch fools you better rethink they are all normal humans like everybody and just take yourself to be the issuer of visas and reconsider and see if you would have issued visas after knowing what transpired in Brazil.Yes anybody has the right to demonstrate but always rethink before you decide to demonstrate because some demos are just uncalled for and will not change anything.

He has a track record,.so why we're all these personalities refused visas? This is what people like myself don't understand. You see, you can't use what happened in brasil to deter such ppl from going to Canada. Is naija holier than Ghanaians? Can anyone tell me that no nigerians fraudster defected to brasil after the wcup? Hundreds will again defect after this u20 tournament. Canadian embassy should show some class,.admit wrongdoing and refund half the visa fee to those they denied. Going forward, the ministry of foreign affairs know Ghana must sit down with these foreign embassies and redraft this visa fee issue. If a person is denied a visa. They should at least be refunded half or 3/4 of that amount. If similar practices are orchestrated in other African nations like Nigeria..why is it any different in ghana?

  I hate to break this to you.In the scheme of things, Ghana do not count for jack on the world stage.Our GDP is less than Ivory Coast which just came out of a brutal civil war and slightly bigger than Sierra Leone and Liberia.Our contribution to world development in terms of production and manufacturing output is in the negative.We owe everyone of our trading partners and even though we are blessed with fertile lands, clean water bodies and natural resources of five European nations combined,we are still a one city nation,almost half of our citizens live in huts and most Ghanaians live on one dollar or less a year.What we need to do is put those idiots(like ghfou)into farming instead of trying to go Canada for their welfare system.

  Do Ghanaians think the rest of the world is sleeping therefore never noticed the disgraceful request of over 200 Ghanaians for asylum in Brazil. Ghanaians are so mean and naive they think entry Visa to anywhere in the world is a right and not a previlidge. There are not any international laws compelling any country to accept visitors into their countries, least under the cover of sports tourism.
  
  All supporters clubs in this country be disbanded forthwith, these jobless idiots have not even shown any regret for the bad images their colleagues in Brazil debacle have created for Ghana. They rather sought to distance themselves from that mess, claiming those were Government sponsored supporters. What runs through their conscience as it imerges no other country faces similar discrimations by Canadian Embassy. Why are Ghanaians so unpatriotic it has to take Somalians living abroad to advice Ghanaians to stop humiliating their country on international platform. Holding a Ghanaian passport these days is akin to be declared a potential refugee seeker at any port of entry. Its a sad story unfortunately.

  What are 4000 Ghanaians going to do in Canada. These are people who hardly watch our local leagues. They will also not pay a cedi to watch our Women under 20 team if they were to play Canada here. Yet they are prepared to pay thousands of US Dollars to watch our young girls all the way in Canada.Its become to obvious that some people have infiltrated into the various supporters union just to enable leave the Country as Economic migrants. They think they smart but the Canadian have shown that they are smarter this time than these jobless Ghanaians.They played a dangerous game and they lost and they want the Vias fee back. They have wasted the time of the Canadian Embaasy and so they have to bear the cost.Where on Earth do people have refund for rejected visa application.if you have all these monies to play games with the Canadians you can equally play games with your monies here in Ghana.These supporters unions members just like the political foot soldiers should try and get a life for themselves.They just can't go on like this forever.Anyway, when is the next international game coming on?. I believe them are getting ready.

  The Ghana government should praise Canadian Embassy for saving the nation much needed foreign exchange. There are over 100,000 Ghanaians currently living in Canada, and several of them could have attended Ghana matches if fan support was all that was needed to win matches. Have we so soon forgotten that Germany beat Brazil 7-1 at the just-concluded world cup in Brazil? That match was in Brazil, the largest and most populous country in South America. There were millions of Brazilian supporters, far more than there were Germans, yet Brazil lost miserably to Germany and to also Holland. Someone should drum it to the thick skull of these "macho men and women": Supporters don't win matches; good players and coaching staff do. The Ghana government should stop this unholy practice of sending Ghanaian supporters to foreign countries at the expense of the government. No supporter should even think of applying for visa to the next world cup to be held in Russia. If several Ghanaian supporters sought asylum even in crime-riddled Brazil, which western developed nation would be naïve enough to grant visa to another set of possible asylum seekers?

  In my opinion, the Canadian Embassy is not obliged in any way to grant the application by the suppoters to btain Visas to watch the ongoing competition in Toronto-Canada. "once bitten, twice shy." 4000 supporters to apply for Asylum in Canada was too much for the Canadian authorities. The order not to grant the applications came from above, Canada. All they need to do is demand their visa fees, and am sure it will work than demonstration.
