Excited Aboagye scores debut Granada goal

The Ghanaian youngster is eyeing a permanent spot in the Granada first team and believes his performance at pre-season can well convince the coach

Granada midfielder Clifford Aboagye has revealed his joy at scoring his debut goal for the first team since joining them last season.

The 19-year-old former Inter Allies playmaker scored a fantastic goal as his side beat Almunecar 8-0.

“It was a great feeling to score my first ever goal for the first team,” Aboagye told Goal Ghana. “I'm really enjoying my pre-season, just hoping my current form earns me a permanent spot in the first team.”

He added: “It's a dream of every young player to play in the Spanish league and I'm really working hard to achieve that.”

Aboagye was voted the third best player at last year’s Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
