Rashid Sumaila to join Mamelodi Sundowns for pre-season today

Ghana World Cup defender Rashid Sumaila will join his Mamelodi Sundowns teammates today (Thursday).

The centre-back was given an extended vacation after making the Black Stars squad for the tournament in Brazil.

Sumaila was an unused substitute in the three matches played against USA, Germany and Portugal.

He played 22 matches in their title winning campaign last season.

Clubs in Turkey and France have enquired about the availability of the Ghana international but coach Pitso Mosimane has made it clear that he is not for sale.
