Ghana Cycling Federation for Polls on May 17

In line with the Federation’s constitution and that of the international body-Union Cycling International-UCI, the media is hereby notified of the Ghana Cycling Federation’s congress which is scheduled to come off at the media centre, Accra Sports Stadium on the 17th of MAY, 2014, from 9.00am-12.00pm.
According to the Communications Director of the Federation, Dennis Kweku Moore, the event is billed to usher into office new Executive members through the ballot box as stipulated by the constitution and would be followed by a one day 60km-80km race at 3pm powered by Promasidor –Cowbell.

The following positions will be up for grabs during the elections:

President
Vice president
Secretary General
Treasurer
Three other Executive positions
The federation is highly regarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Sports Authority and the International Cycling Union as one of the most respected disciplines in its administration and constitutional obligations that has seen a rapid transformation in the sport.
