Milovan Wanted To Show Support To Appiah.

Aide to Milovan Rajevac rubbishes speculations

Nenad Glisic , Special Aide to former Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac has rubbished speculations in the media that his boss held talks with the GFA to become an advisor to current coach Akwasi Appiah during 2014 FIFA world cup in Brazil.

What appears to have ignited the wild speculations could ostensibly be the presence of the former coach at the stadia during Ghana’s last qualifier against Egypt in Cairo and also in Montenegro when Milovan was captured by television cameras .

In a rebuttal , Nenad Glisic in an interview with Ghana Broadcasting Corporation Regional FM in Sunyani said Milovan Rajevac presence was just to show support for Akwasi Appiah whom he worked with during his two year stint with Black Stars.

‘’The match in Cairo was a crucial game for Ghana which Milovan wanted to at least show his support to his former deputy Appiah . .

Montenegro and Serbia don’t forget were together and so to travel from Serbia to Montenegro will take few minutes. It had nothing to do with talks to become advisor or whatever. It was an opportunity for him to get close to a team he coached for two years. Milovan did not hold talks with anybody in Montenegro concerning Black Stars’’
