Bukom Banku to join ICGC Walk to save lives

Braimah Kamoko, the enigmatic boxer nicknamed Bukom Banku is joining the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in charity walk to raise funds for the Children Cancer Unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital tomorrow.

Starting from ICGC Christ Temple, the 10 Kilometer walk is an annual event of the ICGC dubbed ‘Life Walk’ and this year’s takes place tomorrow Saturday 22 March, 2014.

Banku with his management team as well as the promoter of his upcoming mega fight against Ayitey Powers, Alex Ntiamoah Boakye who happens to be a member of the church will join other 3,000 participant to walk to save children's lives.

It was initially planned that Ayitey Powers will be part of the event but later couldn't make it do to his other equally important schedule to attend to.

Banku and Powers clash in non-title Cruiserweight bout at the Accra Sports Stadium on April 18 codenamed Judgement Night.
