The first hunter asked, "What's wrong with your dog? The last time I saw him he was one of the best bird dogs I'd ever seen!"
"Well," the other hunter replied. "His name's Lawyer. He used to run all over creation working hard and getting the job done. The one day, someone made the mistake of calling him Judge. Now all he does is sit on his ass and bark."

Rent A Place And Pretend You Went To South Africa - Minister Tells Stranded Soccer Fans "
The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Saani Daara, the Fred Adu lost twin was in the news yesterday lying about the 2010 Ghana budget for Blackstars to South Africa.
"He cited an example of the 2010 World Cup, where the GFA budgeted for 19 million dollars, but only 9 million dollars was spent saying, “10 million dollars was returned to the government and after the tournament, the country had 11 million dollars, so actually we made a profit of about 2 million dollars in our participation of the World Cup.”
Twenty million dollars is at stake here and these Officials will lie, hew and haw to get their sticky fingers at it. They did the same in 2010 and got away with it and they are going to do it again in 2014 if we fail to hold their legs to the fire.
Folks, it's South Africa all over again.Daara is lying about 10 million dollars having been returned to the budget in 2010, that is a big lie.We were all in the country when we could not even find money to feed and board the so called 1,500 supporters we sent to South Africa and four years later this guy is telling us 10 million dollars was returned to the budget? These people think all Ghanaians are fools. The only money returned to Ghana was the amount the team won as Quarter Finalists qualifier. It's really unbelievable this man can even open his mouth and tell us they are sending parliamentary delegation, governmental delegation etc. Since they are at it, why don't they send the Judicial delegation too since they have catered to two branches of government? Since they are at it, why don't they send the Judicial delegation too since they have catered to two branches of government?
Since we Ghanaians have short memories and these thieves rely on that to steal us dry, I reproduce one of my articles that showed how these same people stole taxpayers money.

Rent a place and pretend you went to South Africa - Minister tells stranded soccer fans "
Last Updated: Wednesday, 16 June 2010, 16:38 GMT Previous Page
Deputy Sports Minister Nii Nortey Dua has advised stranded soccer fans who are still nursing the ambitions of travelling to South Africa to rent accommodation in Accra and pretend they went to South Africa.
“Some people are saying that they have bid farewell to their family relations and their friends that they are going to South Africa. So if they go back they will feel very ashamed that they are not able to go. “Such people should go and hire proper place of accommodation and stay so that after the tournament they can go back and give the impression that they were in South Africa,” the Deputy Sports Minister told Elvis Adjetey on Joy FM Wednesday."
IF YOU ARE READING THIS WITH YOUR NAKED EYE AND THINK THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR EYESIGHT, DON'T RUSH TO YOUR OPTOMETRIST, YOU ARE STILL 20/20. THOSE READING WITH THEIR READING GLASSES SHOULD NOT RUSH TO THE EYE DOCTOR TOO TO ADJUST THEIR BI-FOCALS, YOU TOO ARE OK, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR READING GLASSES AND YOUR MIND IS NOT DECEIVING YOU EITHER. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOUR DEPUTY MINISTER OF SPORTS TOLD SOME GHANAIANS.
That is exactly what the NDC social democrats "I care for you poor folks" Minister told the hungry and tired supporters who have spent about three days at that stadium through no fault of theirs. The stupidity of this Atta Mess government is beyond comprehension. Are Ghanaians aware this administration is spending 18 million dollars during this soccer tournament on Blackstars players, officials and suppoters? You didn't know that did you? Yes, your I care for you government have no money to buy and build maternity wards at our hospitals to properly care for expectant mothers but it has money to send people to go and watch soccer matches.
Wait a minute, this idiot of a minister is not even done spewing his sophomoric vituperations towards the supporters. When these supporters and some Ghanaians voiced their displeasure about the Minister's choice of words, instead of rendering an apology for his stupidities, he compounded the situation with more stupidities the following day.
"If you won’t take my advice, stay at El-Wak; minister tells stranded football fans
Last Updated: Thursday, 17 June 2010, 17:44 GMT Previous Page
Deputy Sports Minister, Nii Nortey Dua says if stranded football fans at El-Wak Stadium in Accra who he advised to seek accommodation and pretend they had been to South Africa for the World Bank are offended by his counsel, they can continue to stay there."
Fellow Ghanaians, this idiot of a man is a member of Parliament and I don't know what his constituents saw in this buffoon of an idiot to vote for him. I hope the juggernaut of their votes next time would teach this fool to learn how to respect others and learn the lessons of empathy and humility. This oscitant Nii Nortey idiot has no business to occupy that position but this administration is soo bereft of intellectuals any fool who can breath and write his first name is seen as qualified to occupy a responsible position.
How did we end up in this mess? Your President and his team thought spending about 4.5 million dollars baksheesh to NDC supporters to go and watch soccer matches is more important than using that money to buy at least five MRI machines for Korle-Bu, Okomfo Anokye, Tamale, Sunyani and Ho Regional hospitals. The sad part of it is that, as a country, we only have one MRI machine at Korle-Bu which broke down due to constant power outages and patients who need MRI scans are denied that service. Remember one of these same Blackstars members has to be sent to Nigeria sometime ago to get an MRI scan done because as a country, we don't have one of this important health care equipment.
The I care for you poor people government of this Atta Mess government has no money to build classrooms for our poor folks but it has money to bribe NDC supporters to go and watch soccer mathes in South Africa.
Do you know why Atta Mess careless about you and your children? He gets his medical care in China and South Africa and has no children to care about and his Ministers and government officials can go to USA to have their children born in modern hospitals and leave them behind to be educated by taxpayers in USA. Atta Mess care more about his four big dogs than his own out of wedlock child he banished to a village in central Region.
Just today it was reported in the forum that, most children in the Upper East are schooled under trees because there is no money to build schools, how pathetic. Our priorities as a nation is really screwed up. How can we neglect the basic needs of our children and spend about 4.5 million dollars for 1,500 soccer supporters to go and watch soccer matches? Yes, some of the stranded supporters at the El-Wak stadium were airlifted to South Africa today, June 17th 2010 to go and watch the games. Is this not beautiful? The same day our precious children were reported to be schooling under trees due to lack of money, your President and his government were able to come up with the needed money to send people to go and watch soccer matches leaving the schools under trees at their own fates.
This government duped Ghanaians by promising to fly two thousand supporters from all walks of life irrespective of your political affiliation to South Africa to support our gallant young men holding our prestige high in South Africa but trimmed the number to 1,040 due to financial constraints, according to the NDC government. Mysteriously, the majority of the fans flown to South Africa turned out to be NDC supporters, "Ei, ASEM BEBA DABI OOOO, YOOOO". The supporters went to South Africa in three batches, with an initial 540 arriving on Saturday, June 12, followed by 250 each arriving on Sunday, June 13 and Monday, June 14. They are housed in a hostel called Muzinda Residence located on the outskirts of Pretoria. An interesting phenomenon is the fact that the supporters cut across age, sex and social class, and were drawn from different government agencies, departments, professional bodies, soccer affiliated bodies, and political orientation in the country, with members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for obvious reasons in the majority.
That was the purpose all along for 'Atta Mess and his Konongo Kaya' team to send NDC supporters to South Africa. This NDC administration is a disgraceful lot. While the deputy Minister of Sports was telling Soccer supporters to rent a room in Accra and then go to their various abodes after the soccer tournament, another deputy Minister was telling these supporters to hang on because the government was trying to source money from some 'rich NDC friends' to send them to South Africa. This is not a government that seems to have its house in order . How can two government officials give conflicting messages to the same people?
"His comments come amidst assurances to the supporters by Deputy Local Government Minister, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah that the remaining supporters at the stadium will be airlifted to South Africa. But the Deputy Sports Minister says neither the ministry nor the planning committee is aware of that arrangement. "He reiterated that the government is incapable of funding their trip, having already airlifted 1,000 fans to South Africa under the government funded initiative to support the Black Stars."
My belief is that, this stupid Deputy sports Minister is intentionally kept out of the loop due to his stupidity because some of those supporters he was telling to go and rent a room in Accra were airlifted to South Africa when he was making his stupid speeches.

If you reason this poorly, I see no reason why you should write a story, let alone publish it. If the GFA has budgeted $19 million for the world cup and Ghanaian supporters are hungry in South Africa, you think it's ideal to use some of the money to feed the supporters huh? And because that didn't happen gives you enough evidence that the GFA didn't return any money right? Are you on glue and it ain't elmers or you rode the short yellow bus growing up? The money given to the GFA must be accounted for based on what they budgeted. You don't come back telling the government some supporters were hungry so you fed them. Jesus Christ, what kind of journalist or reporters are being raised in Ghana kwraaaaa? This is absolutely nonsense.

I do remember and I will find newsreel later for you about how even the fans sent to South Africa and don't forget the fans were accounted for in the 18 or 19 million budget so if these fans were not being fed or kick out from their hostels because there was no money to cater for their welfare and four years later this man is telling you that they returned 10 million of the 18 million to the coffers and they ended up making 2 million dollars profit, the maths does not even adds up.

You should know better The Washington Post had the whole US Soccer Federation budget publish for the years ending in 2015 article written By Steven Goff is in there.
The GFA had never account for or publish it budget, they did not account for 2006 and 2010 even your own Uncle late President Mills went to Fifa seeking permission.
The issue here is simple do we have to pay a $100,000.00 for appearance fee? How much is England, USA, Germany are paying their players? Can we cut our coat according to our size? Every player's dream is to play in the world cup playing in the cup also bring the player's market value KPB is an example. Do pay them 100K and if they do not want to play drop them and take The Stallion, Prof S'Berta, Governor KojoLee, Diamond, POW, Rasheed and dam dam dam to the world cup.
What is their sense of nationalism.

Do you really live in USA and it seems you have no idea how United States government operates.
Where did you get the Coaches salary figure, bonus and other incentives from?
Let meschool you a little about USA and its hands off operation of sports in America. Unlike Ghana, the America soccer federation is not under the government of USA and operates as a private entity like American Football, Baseball, Basketball, MLS and others. These Sports entities does not rely on federal money to operate but rather gets sponsorship or generate money from its investments to operate these agencies.
The 2 million dollars is what the USA federal government is contributing to the soccer federation as the team is carrying the American flag.
Secondly if the American players are going to get any bonus, it is going to come from corporate entities interested in this sports. You might be sitting down thinking the Coach of USA salary comes from the USA government, which is not true.
Are you aware we don't have anything like Secretary of Sports or Minister of Sports in USA? All sports activities in USA even Olympics games sports are independent from the government operation.

Controversy over Brazil 2014 Budget
The Ghana Football Association has presented a budget of $20 million to the Government as provisional budget for the mundial. There are clamours from various groups, individuals and stakeholders for the Government to be transparent with the budget.
If granted, the 2014 world Cup budget will be $500,000 more than the $19.5 million used to sponsor the 2010 World Cup campaign in South Africa.
Nigerian is going to the same World Cup with a budget of $12 million. The US soccer Federation’s World Cup budget for Brazil is listed at US$2 million although the amount may increase. Algeria has proposed US$5.8 million; One million of the mount will be received from sponsorship. Belgium on December 12 announced an allocation of €4.5 million for the national team for Brazil 2014.
