Oti Akenteng is technical director at awaambe sports academy.

CAF Technical Committee Member, Francis Onyameba Oti Akenteng, has taken up appointment as Technical Director at Awaambe Sports Academy.

Awaambe Sports Academy is based in Sandema, the capital of the Bulsa North District in the Upper East Region.

Oti Akenteng who doubles as CAF Instructor, CAF education officer and Technical Director at the Ghana Football Association will head the Technical Department of the Academy.

The Academy is owned by former Spokesperson, Marketing and Supporters Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, Listowell Yesu Bukarson.

Mr Bukarson, who is also CEO of Kumasi-based sports consortium, Authentic Sports, said its the aim of the Academy to unearth hidden talents in the three northern Regions of Ghana.

The Awaambe Sports Academy was launched by the Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Joseph Yamine and the 1978 African Footballer of the Year, "Golden Boy" Abdul Razak two weeks ago.
