Such balls a meant for strikers like Abahamovic, Drogba, Ronaldo and maybr Adebayor not Gyan.
Our players should be thought to understand who they are playing with, especially their size and abilities to use some opportunities.
Looping ball is of no use to atsu, because he cannot man handle giant defense. Midfielders like Muntari should to use their brains on the field effectively to help the forwardlines. Else their contributions becomes fruitless.

This is not league where you have all the time in the world to do try and error. If I was in Akwesi Appiah's shoes I would have played KVP, Sulley Muntari, Kwadwo Asamoah, Essien and Ayew together. He did play KVP and Djan during the Egypt match so he understand that partnership. He should have played this six together to understand them better since he never had all of them.
Akwesi Appiah had said Ghana would shock the world so he does not want anyone to know his hand just like in a poker game but what he need to understand is poker game as in golf is an individualist game while soccer as in football is a team game and chemistry between players is the key.
Like my brother in law Slimzay under and above rock who is missing in action once said Akwesi Appiah need 10 years so he may trying it 10 times I would counting on my half brother POW 3,3,3, for Akwesi Appiah.
I hope the goalkeeper department is settle now no more under the table business like Johnny Cochran said "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit" I am saying "Warming bench must stay at warming bench.

I understand where you are coming from but, Is it good lose just to prove some abilities of players and why didn't Appiah make changes immediately to the end of the first half or as soon as second half begins and wasted about 10 to 20 minutes? Rasheed we would not know for sure if Essien should be starting from the bench until Appiah play the six together take Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers he did not want to start Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suárez one start and one come from the bench until he put them together and saw the result he moved the notch further by adding Raheem Sterling now Liverpool has the highest goal scoring EPL in fact the score more goals in the 1st half of each game.
I am sure Brendan Rodgers next step is to add Philippe Coutinho to starting line up. Brendan Rodgers have all the time in the world to experiment because Liverpool is playing in a league and they are not under any pressure to win the league they are re-building.
Ghana other hand is going to a world cup in June the only Fifa off day is May Akwesi Appiah did not have all these players that he want to take to Brazil 2014 he should have used the Montenegro to experiment but he did not. I do not want him to go and experiment during the Holland game we need to be on top of our game when we play Holland in May just to send a message that we mean business that is the style of winner.
On Slimzay he would be back I have to check in with Prof S'Berta,my half brother, The Stallion and The Governor KojoLee.

The big six you're talking about shouldn't be a problem playing them together. Rather the search of 5 shaolin masters needed to join the big six and the extras needed for replacements are what's needed for now and I guess the coach did this to find his options. Besides, our players played with lots of caution as compared to their opponents who had nothing to lose. We didn't fare badly either and even the over all ball possession shows. If I were in Appiah's shoes, I'll never play my full best squad in any friendly in times like these.

When is wimpy going to stop his "trial and error method of coaching?. Can't he learn from Brazil's Scolari, who has being consistent with his team and style of play. POW my half brother why not give me one reason Appiah should do that and I would forever keep my peace as I said you can do this in poker game or golf this is an individualist game but soccer as in football is team game and it need players understanding and chemistry.
Take old Barcelona or Spain national the team had being together for so long that every player understand every player and have the same chemistry.
Accra Hearts of Oak had the best all round team in 1976, 1977,1978 and 1979 they were delighted to watch because all these players came from Hearts youth which was put together during Tommy Thompson time.
How on earth would Appiah know this would work if he does not play the "Big Six" or his best squad.
Do you want Appiah to Experiment during the D-day all General test their battle plan before the D-day.

We should be building team chemistry now by playing certain players together whilst trying different formations at the same time. Warris and Gyan have been doing well when paired together so I was shocked to see that the coach decided to experiment yesterday as if we have several games ahead to fine-tune tactics. Those close to the technical team must let them know the 2-3 weeks they will have for camping before the tournament will not be enough to prepare very well if we are to achieve our targets of going to the semi-final and beyond.

FIFA takes all these games into consideration while rating teams. Appiah must think scoring and not giving chances to these young players at critical games. Against Egypt, thanks to Kevin who appeared late after 70 minutes of play, our team began as experimental. Why cant these big seven play together only to add a few of the younger ones to avoid early scores against us ? Why cant Kevin, Dede, Gyan, Essien, Mutari, Kojo Asamoah and Daniel Opare start for heaven's sake, Mr Appiah ? Why must they always wait to clean the mess ? Unfortunately for them it was too late against Montenegro. That's not good brain work.

These type of losses are good for the Black Stars. It reminds them that 100% effort is needed in every game. Unfortunately, our players can get over hyped on themselves and sort of go through the motions. The opening penalty was an example of being overly relaxed at the beginning and allowing an attacking chance from the get go. Now back to the question...here is the starting line up. We need a coach who understand the dynamics of football and how results come out. In every competitive match, the first 20 minutes because of the freshness of the players, is played at a frenetic speed - higher tempo yet that was period Ghana team wanted to play a controlled game and inevitably clumsily gave away a penalty. We were doing the right thing at the wrong time. So our style won't be effective. The thing is, it was clearly underscore the belief by some of us that the coach yesterday didn't know anything about the exact game-plan of montenegro beforehand. That was why their counter attacking strategy - soak pressure and quickly hit on the break make Ghana look so wretched. Expressive coaching alone won't take Ghana anywhere in world cup. The team need technical and expository coaching to bring effective opponent analysis and its presentation if we want to win

I have almost the same selection, although I might try Stephen Adams in post to see how he fares in the next game. If there is ever a penalty, we need a keeper who has a good chance of stopping it. I will also like to see Jonathan Mensah in taking either Akaminko or Opare's place. Jonathan Mensah is sharp, can attach, and very good at defending too. I will put him ahead of Opare and Akaminko. The rest of your selection is the same as mine.

I watched virtually all the international friendlies played yesterday with very close focus on the teams that have qualified to the world cup and my conclusions is that Black Stars is nowhere near the glitering performances that has made them the toast of the South African tournaments. We need to take a second look at the way we regard our football if we are not uneccessarily exagerating our ratings even in Africa. We seem to over rely on FIFA rankings for far too long to lay stake to an African giants when infact our football has seen a steady decline since our near miss semi final penalty kicks performances against Uruguay.
We unfortunately and errorneously continue to see ourselves since the last world cup in South Africa as a world cup candidate and material even when we had participated in two AFCON tournament and lost to minnow countries like Zambia, Mali, Burkina Faso and even struggled to earn a draw with DR Congo and had to solicit referee's sympathy to overcome Cape Verde. We did not take these set back seriously because FIFA continue to rank Ghana the second best on the African continent. We failed to realise that FIFA does not go into technical details of how a country wins its matches but only pick results for its analysis which is now very clear is heavily skewed and grossly flawed. Ghana under this flawed circumstances continued to undeservedly maintained its 2nd position rankings; when other countries like Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Zambia and even Cape Verde have improved in their cohesive play while the Black Stars played to win matches not scoring goals in open playtime but struggles to win matches only on solicited penalties.
Watching Nigeria play Mexico on ESPN2 against Mexico, I couldn't but concluded they are they trully are deserving of the African Champions. They were very compact and cohesive with a total control of a team with a mission. They could have won tge game the attackers had taken their chances well. Code D'Ivore were two goals down and were able to play and not only drew level but restored dignity to African football, but what did we see with Black Stars who conceded an early penalty in few seconds of play and were in wilderness for a whole 90 minutes, clueless as to how to unlock the defence of an European football minnow Montenegro, with all the "Stars" we claim to have in Sulley Muntari, Micheal Essien, Asamoah Gyan & Co. As we continue to massage our ego with a certain stale and dead South African quarter final exploit, while other countries especially Nigeria is meticulously working and bringing back the glory days while we in Ghana continue to run everybody down with our mouths and persisted in raking in retrospectively a qurter finals performances to measure our current form.
Cameroon today is a spent force in Africa and world football brcause in the dsys Cameroonean dominance of African football; Cameroon saw themselves as materials good only for the world cup and paid little attention to African competitions just the same route Ghana has embarked on and is begining to take same effects as in Cameroon's case. Ghana can continue to decieve itself as African football force while others are passing us by.

If Ghana had 22 players playing football seriously like Abdul Majeed Waris, everyone would have gone to bed and slept well. Unfortunately the players we have right now, have a problem comprehending why they are on the pitch instead of others. They think playing the game is about expression of one skills and covering spaces if they can. So maybe the coach should bench all of them in the next match for them to learn what makes the dynamics of football and how results come about

Please I beg on U the GFA to compensate Apiah & Konadu and bring in Silas Tetteh & Abedi Pele. These have proven records N experience internationally & on the Local scene. Tetteh twice a world cup medal winner at U20 level playing some delightful football along the way and Abedi guiding his team to beat the likes of Kotoko to lift the FA Cup. These two can combine to give Ghana a blend of football that Sam Arday and his multi system brought us in 1995 and Africa's first Olympic medal. With the players we have and 2or3 additions in defence from the local black stars, we can place 3rd in Brazil as Semi final will be in our reach if D boys can be a little tough or strong. They were too weak yesterday and lacked fight apart from Kwarasey N Warris. We should also make use of our wings. The USA will b physical on us and so is Portugal, we should go 2 steps further in strength.i will use Kodwo Asamoah at 3 and Opare at 11 N interchange them to confuse our opponents as both players can help, each other in defence to block C. Ronaldo. If given D chance, that guy will score as many as he gets. Kwarasey in goal as he has got good height. Thank U Kwesi Appiah N konadu. It's time to save yourselves any humiliation N a bleak history.

If John Mensah is in shape, I will move Akaminko to the bench. Otherwise, let Akaminko play. He's one of the few defenders who hasn't caused a goal yet. Defenders do make mistakes, but it is also true that statistics don't lie. If somebody makes a mistake in a WC qualifier, that's a red flag for what could happen in the WC.
Opare could not distribute the balls properly, so I'll bench him also and play Jonathan Mensah.
Afful, is small, but is one of the few defenders who hardly makes careless mistakes. I will use him as a substitute LB if Kwadwa Asamoah is not available.
Jordan might be ready for the next world cup, but I might put Frank Acheampong ahead of Jordan for now if I had to pick a squad today.
In the future, we should definitely try: Assifuah, Adiyiah, Frank Acheampong, Clifford Aboagye, Otoo, and Jordan.

Speed and stregth. two very important words from yesterday's match! Who remembers the African cup of nations tagged Ghana/Nigeria 2000. Baffuor & Asamoah Gyan were on that team. The two brothers walked away from that team after Gyan was criticized for his profligate ways in front of goal. And we went on our knees asking him to return. Anyway, that was 14 years ago. How old is he? 26? He must have been 12 years in 2000. Albert Einstein defines madness as doing the same thing over and over again and each time expecting different results! Can we blame Mourinho for making fun of E'too? Learn from Keshi of Nigeria. He has dropped the old guard and is getting results. We will see how these two nations progress in Brazil.

I AGREE WITH YOU USE KWARASEY AS OUR
# 1 KEEPER FOR BLACK STARS
It is necessary for Kwasi Appiah to schedule many friendly games to sharpen the Black Stars before Brazil World Cup 2014 in June. We all want Ghana to do well at the tournament in Brazil, so it is time not to procrastinate, b ...

These type of losses are good for the Black Stars. It reminds them that 100% effort is needed in every game. Unfortunately, our players can get over hyped on themselves and sort of go through the motions. The opening penal ...

But who is Kasa? Is it Kwadwo Asamoah? If it is him, then you got it right, bro. I don't see Essien, though.
You approach a game with your best outfit, then you make changes as the game progresses. You don't just throw in team B and when the game gets tough, you then bring in your best players. We don't test players like that.
I like what he did because now, no one can try and complain that they should be starting.
For instance, Agyemang Badu, Atsu and Wakasso are clearly players to come off the bench. In fact, Essien should also come off the b ...

AA NEEDS HELP.I HEAR HE CONTACTED MILO BUT MILO COULDN'T PROVE HIMSELF ONCE HE LEFT GHANA. IS HE THE RIGHT CHOICE?
We said this a long time, but it look like GFA have their own agenda. AA has no foresight, he needs help.
We need a coach who understand the dynamics of football and how results come out. In every competitive match, the first 20 minutes because of the freshness of the players, is played at a frenetic speed - higher tempo yet that ...

The assumption underlying this article is, we have good players and coach. The problem is we don't even know we are sick. How can anyone who saw the game make this assumption? We are going to disgrace ourselves in Brazil.
