The whole football world was trembling when they watched the Ghana U-20 team beat Brazil in 2009 to become World Champions. Why? Just because they saw the new Black Stars emerging then. Alas, not even the able Coach Sillas Tetteh, not to mention the players, were given the due recognition, as usual, for their excellence. We in Ghana seem to have excellence-phobia. Players like Adiyiah, and others, were left to their destiny and they scattered without a shepherd, a few being sold for selfish gains. Rivers flow from my eyes each time I think of how we lost the opportunity of building a solid Black Stars from the 2009 U-20 squad. Sillas Tetteh, the World Champion Coach, had to beg in Rwanda for a living! O, Ghana! All the best to Adiyiah, and hopefully get back to where he belongs in the Ghana striking force, soonest!

Size is the last quality I think about because Pele, Maradona and Messi have proven that size doesn't matter when a player is skillful, strong, fast and determined.
