Board Member of Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, has slammed Hearts of Oak players for their exit from the FA Cup adding that they are not committed.
Nyaho, who was speaking at a gathering at the Board Chairman’s residence, last Monday evening, did not mince words when he had his turn to address the playing body.
“We are not happy with what happened at Bibiani at all, and from the reports we are getting, some of you feigned sicknesses and injuries in order not to make the trip.”
“Most of you are not committed to the Phobian course and if I had my way I will get rid of most of you from the team to make way for more dedicated ones”, the angry looking Nyaho was quoted as saying.
According to him, gone were the days when players were pampered by Board and Management members, adding that players need to act professionally.
“If you don’t want to play for the Club just get out and make way for other players who will help the Club achieve its objectives”.
Nyaho further added that a Doctor will be roped into the team to check all the players, especially those who claimed to have been sick and when the result turns out contrary, those players found culpable will be dealt with.
