African Nations for Amputees postponed

The 4th Cup of African Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF 2013) scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya from November 22-30, 2013, has been postponed.

The new date for the biennial event is December 5-11, 2013 in the same countries.

The change in date is to enable the organizers prepare adequately for the tournament that would gather seven countries on the continent to compete for the coveted cup. Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Angola, Niger, Nigeria and host Kenya will all seek to win the cup.

Ghana, the first African champions are in hot contention together with defending champions Liberia, with Sierra Leone and Angola as the other favorites.
