Marseille winger Dede Ayew has given national team mate Michael Essien thumbs up for his par excellent performance in their Capital One 2-0 win over Arsenal last Tuesday.
Dede tweeted after the game, ‘Great game’ and the Chelsea midfielder Essien replied ‘Thanks bro’.
Essien captained the Blues in their emphatic victory that has earned them a quarter final ticket in the Capital One competition.
It was Essien’s 200th domestic game for the London giants.
Essien has seen little action, playing just two games this season despite his recent razor sharp form.
He was instrumental when Ghana thrashed Egypt 6-1, master-minding one of the goals after a brilliant solo run at the Baba Yara Stadium.
