The world football governing body, Federation of International Football Association. (FIFA) In conjunction with Coca-Cola is creating the most inclusive, participatory and experiential event ever for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The highly anticipated FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola will give more than one million people around the world the chance to experience football’s most coveted prize in their own communities.
In her presentation to members of the media, the territory marketing activation manageress Gift Adjei – Fianko, Said, the FIFA World Cup Trophy will visit 88 countries during a nine-month journey and Ghana has been selected as one of the destinations in Africa for the upcoming 2013 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, Scheduled for 25th and 26th November, 2013. According to the manageress, the president of the republic of Ghana will receive the trophy at an exclusive event on the 25th of November and on 26th November, She stated that, a unique consumer experience will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre which will be open to the public. She added that the event will give consumers a once in a life-time opportunity to take pictures with the authentic World Cup Trophy, whilst renowned Brazilian percussionist group Monobloco as well as a number of local and international artistes will give entertainment at the show.
T he Senior Marketing Manageress of the company hinted that, two media men will be selected and sponsored by Coca-Cola to the FIFA 2014 World Cup to Brazil, and also charged fans to celebrate the World Cup, that will see Coca-Cola promote the most inclusive and participatory FIFA World Cup ever.
