Pontillas’ manager praises Game Boy

Brico Santig, Manager of Filipino boxer, Ronald Pontillas whom Emmanuel Tagoe last fought in Ghana back on April 26, says the Ghanaian has improved tremendously since fighting Pontillas and has confidently backed Game Boy to go on and conquer the world.

Santig insists Pontillas brought out the best in Tagoe which has improved the Ghanaian’s overall fighting ability and is therefore urging Game Boy to take on boxers from the Asian country for sparring ahead of future fights.

“Congrats brother, God bless you for big improvement because last time against my boxer, Tagoe felt a little bit embarrassed with his poor performance. It was a big challenge to Tagoe when he fought Filipino boxer which inspired him to train harder, now he has shown an excellent performance,” Santig told BOXING IN GHANA in a chat on Monday.

He is also confident in the ability of Emmanuel Tagoe challenging for the world title.

“Time will say but there is a possibility, a big chance for him and actually I think they can fight the IBF or WBO even now because it’s a chance. I advise them to get a sparring partner from Philippines to sharpen Tagoe’s skills,” Santig stated.
