Clottey signs three-year deal with Al Dhafra

Former Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey has signed a three-year deal with UAE Pro League side Al Dhafra.

The Esperance forward completed the deal on Saturday.

“I have been here, passed my medicals and signed a three-year contract with the club,” Clottey told Accra-based Happy FM.

“I’ll wear the number 25 shirt here because that is what has been given to me. I’ve to do my best to catch up with the work Gyan has done here.”

Clottey shot into the limelight when he led the Blues in their debut appearance in the Caf Champions League to the money zone and ended up as the top scorer in the 2011-12 edition, although they could not make it to the final.
