Penalties will decide FA Cup matches in the event of a tie

Quarter-final matches that end in draws after regulation time in the MTN FA Cup will not be replayed, the FA Cup Committee has announced.

According to the tournament organisers, if a match is drawn after 90 minutes, an extra 30 minutes may be played (15 minutes each way).

In the event of a tie after 120 minutes of football, the said fixture be decided by penalties.

Eight teams have made the fifth round stage of the Cup Competition which will be played on the weekend of 27 and 28 April 2013.

Just like last season's competition, two second tier sides are competing with six clubs from the premiership ranks for places in the last four stage of the competition.

The competition is guaranteed a new winner following New Edubiase's second round exit.

Amidaus v Aduana Stars - Saturday April, 27.

Asante Kotoko v Eleven Wise - Sunday April, 28

Medeama v Heart of Lions - Sunday April, 28

Hearts of Oak v Gold Stars - Sunday April, 28
