    are they scared?

  • Africanus 11 years ago

No, they are not scared. It is a very good decision. Black Stars need to camp near Sudan for two reason, to become acclimatized to the weather conditions in which they will be playing, and secondly to minimize travel fatigue ...

And apart from that, the game against Sudan is so crucial that this is not the time to go and break our legs somewhere. Even I suggest that the trial match with Kenya be cancelled!

Is "reject" the appropriate word to use here? Can we be a little polite with our choice of words at least against other countries? It sounds as if we snubbed the two countries when in fact we just could not accept the invitat ...

  • Decline instead of reject 11 years ago

The verb decline or refuse would be appropriate here since one cannot reject (an offer) while on the receiving end.

Most people get the meaning of the article- one speaks correct English any more.

It has been the wish that Ghana plays good teams with Japan and Mexico included but at this time I believe GFA has taken a very good decisions for an important and obvious reasons.

  • kojo Adu 11 years ago

we all know the reason, is because of Danny Welbeck, the ghana team misses him as well the ghana fans, i am sorry is too late, he is playing for England, sorry folks

  • The ABiggie 11 years ago

How do you reason? Welbeck has opted to play for England. What has that got to do with Ghana rejecting friendly matches with Japan and Mexico? You are a disgrace to monday borns if indeed you are one.

  • ????????????????????? 11 years ago

  • GC/USA 11 years ago

THIS IS JUST A BIG COVER FOR APPIAH NOT TO EXPOSE HIS INCOMPETENCE AS A COACH. ACTUALLY, THE BEST WAY TO TEST THE NEW BS PLAYERS. WHY NOT ASK MEXICO AND JAPAN TO MEET THE BS HALF-WAY, SOMEWHERE IN EUROPE OR DUBAI.

  • Rocket 11 years ago

Do you think they care! They want to invite a country with a good FIFA ranking to their building to beat and boost their ranking. The match would have been a waste of time....

  • Harrison 11 years ago

We do not even have quality players to honor that encounter. We need a better coach to blend both local and foreign based players before we can think of playing any european team. We are just not ready.
