Rajevac wants Ghana return

Former Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac has finally opened up on his possible return to manage the Black Stars should the position become vacant; according to Nenad Glisic, who doubled as an aide and interpreter for the Serbian during his time with the senior national team.
Current coach, James Kwesi Appiah has been under intense pressure as the Stars prepare for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Sudan in Kumasi, with several reports in the local media indicating that some clandestine moves are underway by the Ghana Football Association to replace him.
The GFA have since come out to rubbish those reports but the rumours refuse to go away with a latest one being that Marcel Desailly has also been approached to take over the Stars job with World Cup qualification failure staring us in the face.
In an exclusive interview with 90 MINUTES yesterday, Nenad Glisic made it clear that Milovan Rajevac will consider a return to manage the Black Stars anytime the soccer authorities approach him. “Of course he (Milovan) would love to come back but at the moment Kwesi Appiah is at post. He (Milovan) appreciates what Ghanaians did for him when he was in Ghana and had a terrific working relationship with the Ghana Federation and it will only be normal should the GFA consider him for the job.”
“At the moment, Ghana has Kwesi Appiah who was a dedicated, hardworking and honest person when he worked with coach Milovan. He has only good words to speak of him (Kwesi Appiah) and believes he would come good despite all the pressure going around.”
Glisic added: “Milovan nevertheless has been following Ghana football because he believes he has an unfinished business in Ghana.
"He even went to South Africa to support the team during the recent AFCON tournament and was so excited to see some old friends GFA friends during his visit. Trust me; Milovan Rajevac is a Serbian at birth but Ghanaian at heart.”
