Footy-ghana.com can confirm that after a long delay, players of Ghana’s Under 20 national team, the Black Satellites have finally been paid bonuses owed them for qualifying for the African Youth Soccer Championship next month.

According to our sources, each player has been paid an amount of $1500 for their efforts.

In a related development, footy-ghana.com understands that the team will be camping in Italy for five days, during which there would be matches against Serie B side Novara and the youth team of Italian giants AC Milan.

The Black Satellites will then move to Spain for ten days, playing a game against a select Catalunya side before the final 21-man squad is named for the tournament in Algeria. The team leaves Ghana tonight to begin preparations.
