When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwasi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwasi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwasi Prat can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Prat and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratts recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Patt has the gut to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Give the Man of the Match to Kwasi Appiah, the coach. Kwasi Appiah did so well by conducting the team throughout the match. On one occasion, I heard him yelling at the referee. This was when we could have had another penalty. The coach did well and deserves to be praised.
The team as a whole did well. The defenders made sure that the balls toward them didn't get to the opponents. Joye Boye was the player who started that by intercepting the balls during the first half. The only mistake he made was his communication with Fatau wasn't good on one point, which almost caused us a goal.
I hope Boye is okay though because he was playing through injury. Vorsah took over during the second half. JP is not doing bad at all at the right full back and so is Harrison Aful. Defense was good today.
Midfield, ooooooooh Ghana midfield ROCKS like someone always sayimg in here all the time. They all chipped in by knowing when to go in and where to stop and retreat. Rabiu, Agyeman Badu, Kwedwo Asamoah, and Adormah did well, but Wakaso Mubarack was the man in the middle.
Folks, let us face the truth, we couldn't get a single player to play like how the Ayews take the ball to the opponents. We missed that quality at the 3 quarter part of the field. Though this team is playing man to man instead of one man taking the ball to the opponent's defenders, on three or so occasions, that quality could have been put to use. It puts pressure on the opponent defenders. Overall, their passes were almost perfect. Derreck Boateng too came in and gave the team a boost for by covering every space in the midfield.
Asamoah Gyan on the other hand couldn't pull the weight. Too slow and too soft. I know he is soft but it seems he has become extra soft nowadays.
GOOD JOB!!!

HW3, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BLACKMAN N WHITE MAN IS RESEARCH N NYANSA.
THIS IS HOW STUPID THE BLACK MAN IS...LET THRE BE A ROAD WITH NAILS IN IT. THE WHITEMAN WILL SAY. WAIT. LETS GET OUT ALL THE NAILS BEFORE
WE PROCEED WITH OUR VEHICLE BECAUSE WE DONT WANT OUR TYRES TO BUST. THE BLACKMAN ON THE OTHERHAND WILL PERSIST ON THIS SAME ROAD UNTIL HIS
TYRES ARE DESTROYED. THEN, HE WILL SPEND MONEY TO BUY NEW TYRES AND MORE MONEY TO REMOVE THE NAILS.
THIS IS THE SAME SCENARIO WITH THE NUMBER 2, NUMBER 3 NUMBER 7 AND NUMBER 11 SPOTS. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY AA IS HELL BENT ON USING KASA AT THE 3,
AFFUL AT THE 3, ATSU AT THE 11. WAKASO AT THE 3. WAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT AA? EITHER HE IS VERY STUPID AND CONSTIPATED MENTALLY OR HE SIMPLY DOES
NOT KNOW WAT HE IS DOING. AFFUL NEVER PLAYS 3 WITH HIS CLUB. HE ALWAYS PLAYS THE 2. WAKASSO WAS A LEFT BACK FOR GH AT THE YOUTH LEVEL AND EXCELL
ED. KASA PLAYS LEFT MIDFIELD FOR JUVE AND OVELAPS ON THE LEFT, WITH CROSSES FOR GOALS AT JUVE. ATSU HAS EVEN PLAYED THE RIGHT FLANK FOR FC PORTO
ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL. THEREFORE, WAT AA SHOULD DI IS THIS. PLAY AFFUL AT THE 2. WAKASSO AT THE 3. KASA AT THE 11 AND
ASTU AT THE 7. THIS IS THE SIMPLE SCIENCE, JAMES AA.

Any team which looks down on Niger may be digging its own grave in this tournament. Frankly, Niger is as good as any team in group B.Look at how they matched DR Congo boot for boot! IF they beat Ghana and there is a winner in the other match between DR Congo and Mali, they will qualify with the winner on the head-to-head rule. The advice is that Ghana should take the match as serious as that of Mali. We only need a draw to go through.

upon all this training I thought you did put your foot down well enough to prepare the team very well.
But for the two games played now I have noticed that there is NO good MID-FIELD player controlling the Stars midfield well enough.
So, with this kind of play, how do you and your technical team think you are going to win the Cup? Of cause, until you train the team very well enough to HOLD the MID-FIELD very very well that is not going to happen.
I believe you saw how you were praying that the referee should whistle to end the match. Coach, you can not count on luck always, instead, train the team very well to play good cohesive football a draw up plan like the Barcelona FC.
Coach Appiah, your team is very very BAD. there was absolutely no full commitment from any of the players except Asamoah and Asante and versa only.
A lot of mistakes in the team. The team is very lucky that this ugly play from the Stars were not against Congo. They would have won at the end of the match.
Do your home work very well. Talk to the players and show them their bad play on tape. Come out with a BETTER midfield play.

Most efficient coaches are always onto of their players and officials along the touchline, and they always have a strong opinion. In fact most of them are very opinionated and "a pain in the butt". Examples: Mancini, Sir Alex, Mourinho, etc. Even the gentle Guardiola often stands up and gestures.

They actually stayed disciplined and did not leave gaps between the midfield and the defense like what happened with DR Congo. Mali found it difficult to create chances and if you noticed, Mali resorted to long balls to Diabate who was always offsides. We gave up some scoring in order to play team defense today. It was not spectacular but it was a tactical win. If this turned into a fast and furious type of game, it could have been a high scoring loss. Ultimately, the team has to be compact and counter attack. Good delivery in the final third will lead to goals, penalties or set pieces. This is the only way.

If anyone for one minute think winning games in big tournaments is easy, they should think again. This was a banana skin game for us today so to come through without a blemish is wonderful. Well done to the coach, he commanded his troops well from the touchline, he was vocal throughout and you could see the urgency in his players' game today. The tackles were sharper and the players moved the ball quicker. The Malians could not match our boys in the 1st half, we should have scored at least one more goal in the game. I am happy with the 1-0 win though. The pressure is now slightly off. We can go and enjoy the game against the next opponents and show our class. Well done guys, good job Kwesi Appiah.

We are lucky to have won. Our performance was no where near what we did in the Congo match. I still don't understand why the coach plays K Asamoah in defence. You could see that we lacked creativity in the midfield and the substitutions he made were ineffective. We need to up our game by playing players in their rightful positions. The coach must stop this trial and error business.

Actually, I respectfully disagree. The coach put K. Asamoah in an attacking midfield position to satisfy all the critics. Guess what happened?? K. Asamoah is better coming up as a defender!! It is obvious that the coach knew what he was doing. Luckily, with Vorsah and Afful the back line is stronger and the midfielders were exercising restraint and not being as aggresive offensively and concentrated on defense. I thing the fantasy that K. Asamoah is going to be an attacking force will cause hearbreak. He is a skilled ball handler who is better as a left back or a defensive midfielder who sits in front of the center backs and gets counter attacks started. He is not a scorer and never will be.

Ghana better not dismiss Niger as an easy team to beat and collect three points. They are big, strong and possess decent skills. They created enough clear chances to beat Congo today. They still have chance to advance so they will come firing on all eight cylinders of their V8 engines.
Ghana is now atop of the table with 4 points, +1 GD; Mali 3 points, 0 GD; Congo 2 points, 0 GD; Niger 1 point, -1 GD.
It is still an open group. We need at least a point off Niger to guarantee a berth onto the next stage of the competition. Good Luck, Stars!!!!

Job well done guys. Guys from now on play every game like its the final one. Ghanaians have the habits of starting very slow. That style should be history. We are little deficient when it comes to the height against many opponents. So my take here is that be fast and accurate. Try the long shots but accurate. Don,t allow any of your opponents to score before you. This tournament does not allow that. When Ghana score the first goal, defensive play is the name of the game now. No foul in the penalty box neither or passing the ball to your players. Send long balls to the other side and hope that one of our players will put this hell merry inside. GOOD LUCK GUYS AND PLAY WITH PRIDE.

Sorry to say I personally do not think this Manager is the right man for the job. The selection of players for the tournament was poor and his selection on the field of play is very very poor. The tactics and performance of the players don't make them worthy to be playing for Ghana because they are not putting in any effort at all. Ghana should find a new Manager who knows player selection. With this Manager sorry, He should be changed.

There was an improvement in the performance of the BS in terms of tactical discipline. Coach Appiah rang changes to protect our goal area at the appropriate time. BS has the history of shaky starts in every tournament but progresses later, that is match after match…
My observation about the players in the match played today.
1. Fatau Dauda…Excellent performance and must keep it up, especially area ball–perfect
2. Paitsil..Good job coupled with experience
3.Harrison Afful…Has solved the left back position problem. Superb skills surging forward and coming back to defend..Absolutely fantastic.
4. Isaac Vorsah..Amazing area balls clearance was crucial to protect our goal area.
5. John Boye. Fantastic job which helped our defense.
6. Rabiu Mohammed..Needs to improve upon his performance. Always heckling opponents down to attract yellow cards and unnecessary free kicks against the BS.
7.Albert Adomah..Tremendous improvement and he was darling to watch
8. Agyemang Badu..Very aggressive and even the best striker for the day. Good job..doing his job and helping Asamoah Gyan to strike.
9. Asamoah Gyan..He needs to lift up his game because he was sluggish upfront. All the Adomah pull outs were wasted Emmanuel Clottey should compete for this position to wake Gyan up.
10. Kwadwo Asamoah..Play maker upfront, creative and needs to be encouraged to explode during the subsequent matches.
11. M. Wakaso…He is gradually becoming the revelation..Always trying to have a great impact in the game.. The sport kick was expertly taken by him.
Reserves…Derek Boateng, Solomon Asante, Atsu must be allowed to play from the bech.
NB, Atsu needs to be psyched not to go and watch personalities but play his normal game like club level so he can make things happen

I must congratulate the boys for playing very well, they deserved the win yesterday, but we also need a team work as well as a good finish because our finish to every game is very bad.
Please tell Gyan that if he can play like a captain and a striker then he should put the captain's band down, because a captain must make the team play like one(unity), he must carry the team on himself and pick an example from Appiah's. please go and find the meaning of a striker.
please Badu and Wakasu i like what u guys did yesterday continue to do that and speedy recovery to Wakasu, Solomon, i like the way u introduced ur presences.
Please Kwasi Appiah, i will edge u that find a better striker because Gyan is not a striker but a mid-fielder, a striker who can't striker, who can not make defenders be afraid of him, since he like to play as a mid-fielder then play him like on and find a striker who can play like a striker and tell GYAN to stop fooling because it is people's taxes that he is been paid off so him he thinks he has money he should sit at home. If he tries to follow defenders like what he did yesterday then he must to sit down to learn his lesson because he can't be fooling with peoples taxes and people heart and emotions on the team by supporting the term.

slimzay u are wrong....for some players display jesus is lord or thank u jesus,is it a sin? hell no....unless there's a new law that is forbiding that in modern football.
I think Ghana can contest this yellow card before our game with Niger. Like Sidder said in his comment, there is no law yet for pulling the shirt half way and display a message that is not offensive.
unless the t shirt has no tag!!what he did was wrong!!
We can't win this case because it is a law. I recalled Mario Balotelli's "Why Me" label, got him a yellow card. The players should be talked to because all these little mistakes can affect us.
try the benchwarmers next game..gyan and dauda should sit..dauda is too dangerous for a keeper kwarasey is better...gyan is the weakest on the ghana team.
Why are u been devilish? What is wrong with Dauda thanking n praising God for giving Ghana victory through him. Wise up
Sidder, the reason for the caution wasn't the meaning or the words in the shirt. You can't take off your shirt half way or totally period. That was the reason for the card.
I know but it is because ALLAH god almighty is GREAT TO US
wakaso has broken a major rule of FIFA and he will be banned by FIFA.What were the Ghana officials doing before the game ? Watch this space.
