Kwasi Appiah has confirmed that no local coach can handle the B. Stars not because they are not good, but, becuase they can't be fair and objective and also subject to manipulation. Most often than not thier decisions are influence by tribalism, envy, bigotry and selfish interest. There can never be any footballing reason for excluding Jordan, especially looking at those who have been called in his stead. A hugely talented young striker who has it all skills, speed, mobility, power and aggression which he showed glimpse of in Gabon, and look the strikers he is competing with in marsaille, strikers that even our best striker Gyan will find it difficult to displace, yet he is able to break into the first eleven.

Gyan played in the France league and scored 18 goals in one season prior to the 2010 W/C. Have you forgotten or you were not born by then?

If we apply statistics then AA has improved in his selection of players. Compare the number of appearances with goals and you will see why Jordan was left out. Gyan has played for Ghana 60 times and scored 28 goals, Jordan has played for Ghana 10 times and scored 2 goals. Often good strikers score approximately half the number of times they play. For example Eto has played for Cameroon 111 times and scored 53 goals, Drogba has played 90 times for Ivory Coast and scored 59 times. For good measure Van persie has played for the Netherlands 71 times and scored 31 goals. Also bear in mind that although Jordan has potential talent his numbers at Marseille are not as good for a striker. For example Jordan has played 74 games total and scored 10 goals. The fact that he makes the first team at Marseille does not mean that Ghanaians cannot read the statistics. If Jordan's numbers at club level improve, I will be the first to ask for his inclusion. Until then there is no reason to pick someone who has 'potential' over another player who has proven results. Jordan has talent, but he has to mature by improving on his goal scoring abilities. He plays more as an attacking midfielder than as a striker. I wish Jordan and Dede the best in their careers, as much as I do for all the Black Stars players. There is business at stake at this moment, and no emotionally charged feuds should stand in the way. This is a matter of national proportion and yonder we march towards victory!!!

Have you noticed that these 3 players, John Paintsil, Agyemang Badu and Derrick Boateng, are always quick to act as spokemen, and each time they have done that, they have exhibited very poor individual performances ? I wish they will learn.
