Hearts of Oak to open talks with David Duncan

The board chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV will officially open talks with David Duncan on Monday as they seek to find a replacement for the sacked, C.K Akunnor.

The former Ashgold coach has been out of the coaching business after failing to lead Ghana’s U-23 team to the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Duncan has a lot of experience in the Ghanaian league after stints with Accra Great Olympics, Sekondi Hasacas and Ashgold.

He has also been at South African side, Free States Stars.

It is likely David Duncan will land the job and his appointment is expected to be made official in the coming days ahead of Hearts of Oak’s clash with arch rivals, Asante Kotoko on November 18 in Kumasi.
