Preview: Chelsea, a threat to Hearts' campaign

An exciting start to the Glo Premier League continues this weekend with title rivals Berekum Chelsea against Hearts of Oak taking centre stage.

Saturday sees the first fixture of match-day-5 in the clash between Ebusua Dwarfs and New Edubiase at the Len Clay Stadium live on Metro TV at 15:00GMT.

Edubiase, sitting at the foot of the table will attempt to improve on their poor form so far having conceded 10 goals in four matches but could also go down to Dwarfs, who would have to play in Obuasi as they continue to serve a home ban from last season.

The Chelsea and Hearts of Oak meeting on Sunday is arguably the biggest match of the weekend, as both sides who lost their previous games look to bounce back and stay in contention for the top.

But the stakes, though, appear high for the Phobians who have lost two successive matches and a third defeat could add up to the pressure.

Chelsea will want to capitalise on Hearts' dented confidence when they meet at the Golden City Park.

In Kumasi, Mas-ud Didi Dramani will aim to address Asante Kotoko's recent problems against Berekum Arsenals in a clash of two winless sides at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Kotoko's title defence has looked shaky after four consecutive draws in the League but failure to get past Arsenals will turn the heat on Dramani.

Wa All Stars will be seeking to build on their solid performance which saw them beat Hearts of Oak when they welcome Tema Youth to the Wa Park.

After their midweek disappointment when they lost, Amiduas will take on Heart of Lions at the Tema Stadium while Liberty Professionals, who have struggled so far welcome Aduana Stars to the Carl Reindorf Park.

Real Tamale United have found life tough since returning to the Premier League as they are yet to collect a win. They play leaders, Medeama at the Tamale Stadium.

Elsewhere, AshantiGold and King Faisal meet at the Len Clay Stadium, where the Miners recorded their first win on Wednesday.
