Kwarasey and Stromsgodset in 3-way fight

..... for Norway title

Black Stars goalkeeper Adams Kwarasey and Ghanaian compatriots Razak Nuhu and 18 year old Bismarck Agyei Boateng are involved in a 3-way battle for the league title in Norway with club side Stromsgodset with just 4 match days to go.

The trio all featured last Sunday as Stromsgodset drew 1-1 against joint leaders Molde, a result that left Stromsgodset 3 points behind Molde and leaders on goal difference Rosenborg. It's so tight at the top of the 2012 Norwegian Eliteserien that even 4th placed Tromso could jump straight into the title hunt, a point behind Stromsgodset, should they win their game in hand against 2nd from bottom Sandnes Ulf.

But most significant for Stromsgodset who are currently captained by Kwarasey is that they have their destiny in their own hands with a home game to come against Rosenborg for who another Ghanaian, 26 year old Awal-Mohammed Issah has featured in eleven league games this term.

In fact, Kwarasey's side can move level with the leaders if they can win their Match Day 27 tie on Friday at Haugesund before Molde host Rosenborg Sunday in a top of the table clash.

"I am enjoying life where I am now because we play good football and keep on winning matches. I am taking it one step at a time but definitely we have had a great season so far after finishing 8th last year. It's my determination to do everything I can to help Stromsgodset win the league title and play in the UEFA Champions’ League,â" Kwarasey has said.Â
