Lawson headlines Golden Mike’s next promotion October 27

Young sensation Frederick Lawson will have the chance to re-affirm his acclaim to future world title glory when he headlines the next boxing event of Golden Concepts’ outfit Golden Mike Promotions come October 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium’s Inner Car Park. Lawson, famously called Okunka by fans, has dominated and beaten opponents into submission thus far, all his opponents failing to last the distance in the 17 professional fights of his career. Only former world champion Alfred ‘Cobra’ Kotey retired after 3 rounds back in their fight in May and therefore the only boxer whose loss to Frederick Lawson is credited in the records not as a knockout.

Lawson, 17-0, 16 KOs, battles Argentine Miguel Barrionuevo in a 12-round battle for the WBO Youth Welterweight as well as WBO International Welterweight titles on the October 27 bill. Also featured bouts include the WBO International Super Middleweight championship between Ghanaian Joseph Kwadwo and Georgian Shalva Jomardashvili over 12 rounds, Samuel Amoako of Ghana versus David Kiilu of Kenya for the WBO Africa Lightweight belt also over 12 rounds and the International Super Welterweight contest between Joshua Okine AKA Bukom Tsatsu and Boris Mdinaradze of Georgia.

The national Featherweight contest between Ishmael Aryeetey and Razak Nettey over 12 rounds and the 12-round national Super Bantamweight championship featuring Raymond Commey against Emmanuel Quartey conclude the fight fixtures for October 27.
