Crentsilâ??s future undecided - Togbe Afede

The Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak SC TogbeAfede has thrown the furture of the club’s Chief Executive Officer Fred Crentsil in the air admitting the Board has not taken a tentative decision on his future amidst intense pressure from fans calling for his sack.

Mr. Crentsil has come under severe pressure with a section of the Phobianfaithfuls calling for his head after a dismal campaign in the just ended Glo Premier League which saw them place third sixteen points adrift of winners and eternal rivals Asante Kotoko. The Phobian fans feel the wrong players were recruited hence their third place finish and quarterfinal exit from the MTN F.A Cup.

In an interview with Fox FM in Kumasi TogbeAfede said, ‘the matter of CEO is one for the board and the Board is scheduled to meet at the end of the month, I cannot answer the question about the future of the CEO for now. His contract runs until the end of October.’

Mr. Crentsil had stints with Sporting Mirren and also served as the Chairman of the Black Queens Management Committee before assuming the Hearts of Oak hot seat.
