Asamoah Gyan To Join Ghana’s Afcon Squad On Tuesday

Striker Asamoah Gyan will make a late entry to the Black Stars camp in South Africa, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The Al Ain ace, who arrived in Accra on Thursday, has been granted a two-day extended leave by coach Goran Stevanovic on personal grounds and will now leave the country on Monday.

The 25-year-old is currently nursing a hamstring injury and will join up with his team mates at their base in Rustenburg on Tuesday.

There, Gyan will also meet up with Serbian therapist Mariajna Kovacevic who is renowned for her horse placenta treatment which heals injuries quicker.

He will miss the friendly matches against Kaizer Chiefs and South Africa before the team’s departure to the Gabonese City of Franceville.
