Ajara grabs another gold medal in 400 meters race

Maputo, Mozambique, Sept. 14, GNA - Ghana's Ajara Mohammed has assumed the status of a hero at the 10th All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique after she picked another gold medal in the 400 meters race in the Paralympic Sports on Tuesday evening.

Ajara again made a good stretch ahead of her competitors to register Ghana's second gold medal in the competition.

She won similar feats four years ago in Algeria where she completed the Games as the nations "Golden Girl".

The athlete early Monday won a gold medal in the 1500 meters and has expressed the desire to make the time to the Olympic Games during the qualifiers.
