Ghana’s Amateur Boxing Team Leaves

For African Boxing Confederation Zone Ii Tournament

IN LOME ,TOGO

A 19-man Amateur Boxing Contingent comprising 7 Officials, 11 Boxers and a driver left Accra on Tuesday, 19th April for the above mentioned tournament in Lome -Togo.
The team is being sponsored by the Government of Ghana ,Global Voice Group and supported by the Chief Executive of the National Sport Council (Mr. Wolanyo Agra) and Mr. Ray Quarcoo the President of Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation.
This Tournament was initially scheduled from 29th March to 4th April but was postponed due to some technical problems on the host country’s part, and was rescheduled to the above mentioned date.
The Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation expresses its appreciation to the Government of Ghana, Global Voice Group, the Sports Ministry and Sports Council for facilitating the nation’s participation in this tournament.
