Dwarfs reap goal harvest

Cape Coast, Aug. 3, GNA - Premier League campaigners, Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs whipped their city counterparts, Liberty Rainbow 5-0 in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah sports stadium at Cape Coast on Thursday.

The match formed part of the preparations being made by Dwarfs towards the 2007/2008 National Division One League. Dwarfs who outclassed Liberty Rainbow throughout the game led 2-0 in the first half.

Liberty Rainbow, a Division Two club, resumed the second half strongly and matched Dwarfs boot to boot but their attack was short lived as Dwarfs gradually warmed into the game and took control from the 70th minute to bang in three more goals through Jonathan Ghansah, Nana Panyin and Mohammed Saphiano to seal the doom of their opponents. Mr John Oti, Manager of Liberty Rainbow in an interview with GNA Sports attributed his Club's defeat to ill preparation and promised "to seek revenge in due course".
