Barusso?s Inter dream

Rimini playmaker Ahmed Barusso has stated that he is keen on a move to Inter, despite the latest rumours suggesting he has also been eyed by Arsenal.

The 22-year-old has made a sensational start to the Serie B season and has been linked with a move to the San Siro during the January transfer window.

The African has now reportedly been targeted by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as well, despite him claiming this week that he would not strengthen in January.

?My agent has told me that Inter have been put in contact with my club for a possible transfer in January,? said the player, who is contracted to Rimini until 2010.

?It would be a dream for me to be able to wear the Nerazzurri shirt.?

The youngster was a key player in Manfredonia?s triple promotion from the amateur Leagues to Serie C1 in the past few years.

He insists that he is more than happy with life at Rimini - who currently sit third in Serie B.

"I have been in Serie B for just over a month," he told Guerin Sportivo.

"I've changed four leagues in four years and should I try to run more it might be a big mistake. I owe my success to Franco Janich who discovered me, to Manfredonia's coach Leonardo Bitetto and Abedi Pele's suggestions too.

"I'm doing the rest, here in Rimini, where I have found a coach, a club and team-mates that are really special. I owe my success to them."

He is still partially owned by Manfredonia and is valued at ?3.5m, but Rimini sporting director Walter Muratori recently confirmed that the club has not yet received any firm offer.
