Gossip & Transfers: Amamoo for Ukraine?

  • Ghanaian goalkeeper William Amamoo is very close to a major transfer to the Ukrainian first division side Dnepr Dnepropetrovsk from Sweden. "We are currently in advanced discussions with the people from Dnepr. I believe, with 90% certainty that Amamoo will sign with the team trained by Oleg Protasov" said Mitran.

    • Kumasi Asante Kotoko has confirmed the departure of defender Aziz Ansah. He joins the Nadi club in Bahrain. Aziz Ansah, who leaves Accra Tuesday to join his new club in Bahrain helped Asante Kotoko to their two premiership titles in the 2003 and 2005 league seasons.

    • William Owusu Acheampong is on trial with Belgium side, Anderlecht. The 17-year-old striker, considered to be a huge talent, is having a two month trial. Anderlecht is said to have gone to Ghana to scout the U-19 International and is now giving him the opportunity to train with them.
