Foso Training College emerge winners

Assin Foso (C/R) May 30, GNA - Assin Foso Teacher Training College gathered 125 points to place first in the athletic event of the Central/Western Regional Zone Inter Teacher Training Colleges Sports Festival held at Foso on Saturday.
Komenda College took the second position with 63 points followed by Sefwi Wiawso Training College with 52.5 points while Enchi Teacher Training College followed at fourth position with 39 points.
In the women=92s division, Cape Coast Our Lady of Apostle took the first position with 106.3 points followed by Foso Training College with 63 points, Takoradi Holy Child third with 37.6 points with Komenda Teacher Training College fourth with 31.6 points.
In the men soccer, Foso Teacher Training College took the gold medal for placing first while Komenda College took the silver medal. In the women division, Our Lady of Apostles beat Foso College 2-1 to win the gold medal in the finals.
Komenda College came first in the table tennis followed by Foso College.
In the women=92s division Takoradi Holy Child came first with Our Lady of Apostles coming second.
Certificates and prizes were awarded to deserving athletes.
