Tamakloe wins Celebrity Medal Golf

Tema, Aug. 31, GNA - Fui Tamakloe returned a net score of 69 to win the Coca Cola Monthly Medal Golf Championship played at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono, near Tema at the week-end.

George Yaw Amoah took the second position with 70 net while Harrison Adu-Agyei placed third with 71 net.

In the Ladies encounter, Ann Brown came first with 72 net followed by Helen Appah at the second position with 74 net while Grace Amoah placed third with 76 net.

The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play Competition which was opened to amateur golfers was sponsored by the Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited.

Mr Oswald Amuzu, Competition Secretary of the Celebrity Golf Club commended Coca Cola for sponsoring the competition since the beginning of this year.

He urged the golfers to take advantage of the event to improve upon their handicaps.

The next competition, which would also be sponsored by the company, will be played on September 26.
