Stop Chastising Sly Tetteh

It's not my duty to enlighten Ghanaians and failures in the football business the new and scientific approach to the game.Mine is to chronologically investigate,report,inform and educate.

It is based on the latter that i find it saddened and disheartening to educate the little minded sports enthusiast in the current trend things are done and to encourage Ghanaians to appreciate they we have.

The financiers and managers of Dansoman based Liberty Professionals Alhaji Sly Tetteh and Mr.Felix Ansong have in recent times suffered verbal abuses and accusations for what I think they are being wrongly accused of.

What have they done wrong?Committed Crime?Robbery?Or Slave Trading. OH!Do we envy them because of the good planning and vision they have for their team and Ghana football?

Have they robbed the bank to construct a training pitch which will soon be a mini Stadium or to build a Club House with a modern Gym plus a club secretariat and the Dodowa project?

Who has been able to single handedly do this in the history of Ghana football?Yes,they trade in players but value their assets.

So let us consider their contribution to the devolopment of the country. The biggest crime in Ghana today is how and why Liberty contributes largly to the national team especially the Black Stars.

Have we suddenly forgotten that 12 kotoko players were in the Black Stars team or an entire Hearts team playing in the world cup qualifier and even Ashgold players representing ghana?

Didn't we have the likes of Sammy Adjei,Yaw Acheampong,Eben Hagan etc(all from golfields) dominating the Stars squad?

Can we grow and critisize constructively?If the criteria for selection in to the stars team is based on current form and consistency why then do we chastise Sly Tetteh and his so called boys.

Who says Michael Essien,Emmanuel Pappoe,John Paintsil,Suley Muntari,Asamoah Djan etc are players of Liberty Professionals?Note:...they play for clubs outside ghana.Are these not regular for their respective clubs in Europe?

Point of interest.....all players managed by Liberty travelled to europe before they played for the Stars.So where lies the accusation that Sly and his men planted Sellas Tetteh as Stars assistant coach so they can do business.

All the so called Liberty players have in the past few years chalked success for ghana at the U-17,U-20,U-23 and are on the verge of together with their collegues qualifying ghana to her 1st ever World Cup appearance.

Ghana Football Association and the Sports Ministry must stop this insults on the Liberty family because it's no secret the kind of support and contribution they have given in these few years.

A prophet is not accepted in his own country but countries like Benin,Togo,Kenya,Italy,France,Israel and the rest of the world will continue to tap the expertise of the Scientific Soccer Family.

Soon the likes of Victor Ahiakpor(Heart of Lions) and Alhaji Bimbo (Midjiland) who have invested so much to develop the game of football and get young boys out of the streets will chastise for doing football business. Alhaji Sly Tetteh,Mr.Felix Ansong and all directors of L iberty Professionals,the positive and pragmatic minds appreciate what you are doing so we say KUDOS
